Da svariati post vado avanti con illustrazioni per amici e ristampe di vecchi (ormai) lavori...
Ma come ho mangiato fin'ora?
Finalmente dovrebbe essere uscito il mio primo lavoro per la Soleil, "Lans Sirling T2" (qui in alto la cover dipinta dal disegnatore).
Come ormai pare uso, sul sito dell'editore il mio nome non c'è, speriamo sul fumetto (QUI una preview) ci sia...
Anche se io preferisco lavorare da solo, data la scadenza serrata (46 pagine fatte di corsa ad agosto) mi son fatto aiutare da due amici, Walter Porto alle basi e Andres Mossa per le ombre.
Nonostante la bravura di entrambi (Andres ora è un colorista Marvel) li ho sfruttati come "operai", rimaneggiando il tutto affinchè fosse un prodotto del tutto mio.

Grazie ancora ad entrambi per la sfacchinata...

On the Marvel Comics website the page of DOA has been adjourned inserting my name.
Thanks to the editor (Mr.Levine, really kind) that is interested for resolving the problem.

Saltato questo 5 di novembre il mio esordio (anche se altro avevo già fatto) in Marvel data la scomparsa del mio nome tra i credits, ecco annunciato per febbraio un volume che raccoglie storie Marvel prodotte in Europa, con all'interno il "mio" (e di Tito, Claudio e Marco) "Doppia Morte"... Magari alla fiera di NY gli editor non mi prenderanno per pazzo quando gli dirò "ehi quello l'ho fatto io!"

I'm Back from "Lucca Comics&Games", the greatest Italian convention of comics
(and also the most impracticable... too people, too many stand, little space).
To this convention there were two my publications like illustrator, a homage to Manara on the book published by the "Leopoldo Bloom Editore" and a table for MONO (magazine of "single page" comics with unique theme)

Tornato da Lucca, son vivo e a quanto pare l'unico senza febbre e con la voce a piena potenza.
Mi son divertito, ma non grazie all'organizzazione, alla fine a Lucca ci si torna per "socializzare" con colleghi e amici, son più contento dei momenti passati fuori dai padiglioni (cene, birre e passeggiate) che della fiera in se.
Tornato con una copia del Volume omaggio a Manara pubblicato dalla Leopoldo Bloom Editore con all'interno una mia (ormai vecchia) illustrazione, soddisfazione multipla data la compagnia di Dell'Otto, Camuncoli, Ausonia, Toppi, Darrow (e altri), e una copia di MONO#5 contenente una mia tavola esperimento (tutta in digitale) che è un doppio omaggio a due personaggi "neri" (ma pochi l'han capito eheh).
